ANNA LAUGHED...

And we got it on camera! There has never been a more beautiful sound! The quality of the video is not great cause it's on a cell phone, but enjoy anyway!

More Hip Happenings...

Well, here's another installment of Anna Maria's Hip Happenings. This episode finds Anna doing many, many things. First, she went on her first train ride to Granny and Grandpa's. She did so well. Also, she has become a world class roller over!

Here's a little video:

Also, she unfortunately got her first little sickness - a cold- at the end of April (sigh). She got over in in a day and a half while Curt and I battled it for over a week. Go figure.

More Laughing

Isn't she a sweetie?

Why is it that...

Why is it that when you finally got your house clean, you are ABSOLUTELY convinced you have achieved some fundamental turning point and that your house will be clean forever after and that nary a speck of dirt or misplaced item will ever plague your life?

(Two posts in one day: Must mean you've been on hold with the IRS for forty-nine minutes and three seconds about your tax return. Yep, that's exactly what it means!)

Things I love...

Dear future Anna,
These are the things I love about you...

-How deliciously floppy you are after your night feedings! They make getting out of bed (over and over) totally worth it!
-The way you smack your lips after you eat.
-Belly slappin' fun!
-How you try really hard to roll over, then get mad when you do!
-Your shy-guy smiles!
-You new ability to reach out and grab anything and everything!
-The sweet and funny things you do with your hands while you eat (hands clasped together, backhanded strokes, etc.)
-The little dances you do in your jumperoo!
-The way you love to eat Mr. turtle's head on your exersaucer!
-When you suck your thumb - you are so cute!
-Your cute yawns!
-Super kicks with your left leg!
-Your at-ti-tuuuuude!!!!!

LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Election year, election year!!!

To risk upsetting my few readers with political stuff and in honor of Anna and the darn good old common sense I know she'll show someday, if anyone has a few free moments to look up and read this, you'll laugh and cry at the rantings of an angry senior citizen... and be better off because of it!
